VimoSwap always measures how the service is used to improve it. There are two modes, depending on your choice in the banner. You can change it at any time with "Manage cookies" at the bottom of the page.

Essential only: only the cookies needed for the service to work are set. Measurement is anonymous and cookie-free: page views and key steps, with no identifier stored in your browser, no profile and no link to your account.

Accept: full measurement with PostHog (hosted in the EU), using cookies to follow your journey, linked to your account, with a 30-day memory of where your visit came from (campaign, referrer).

Cookies and storage used

  • vimoswap-session: sign-in session and the code of an invitation link. Required, removed when the session ends.
  • XSRF-TOKEN: protection against forged requests. Required.
  • vs_consent: remembers your choice for 12 months. Required.
  • vs_attribution: where your visit came from (UTM, referrer, campaign) for 30 days. Set only after you accept.
  • PostHog cookies and storage (ph_ prefix): full measurement, only after you accept.
